2009 Minimum Wages

In a quick search I came across the U.S. Department of Labor site, where the minimum wage of all states are listed. I was surprised to see that Kansas' is a grand $2.65/hr; which unfortunately seems acceptable (for lack of a better word) compared to some southern states that do not even have any minimum wage laws.

Happy New Year!!!

Hey everyone... I am back. I brought in the New Year 4 hours earlier than I normally would have. 35 miles from Venezuela, in the Caribbean lies an island called Curacao, which is where I have been for the last 9 days. 80 degree weather in the winter is the business, mosquito bites up the yang, is not. Nevertheless, I had a great time away and now I am happy to be back home. Many blessings in the '09 to all.
